“My name is Lori Turnbull. I am a self-taught impressionist, who did not start painting until my 50s.
My work often reflects my humor and whimsy, as well as my deep love of nature, especially the beautiful Missouri woods I grew up in.
Like these woods, my art is forever growing and changing and it has been quite a journey, but one very worth making.
Each blank canvas has been a chance to share my stories and continue on my journey.
I feel so blessed to be able share this love with others, and
I am absolute proof that Art Heals.

Meet & Greet the artist, Lori Turnbull
at The Art & Creativity Center
on Saturday, March 2, from 12 -2 pm.
Lori’s artwork will also be displayed in the gallery
the whole month of March for you to view and to purchase.

Do you have trouble finding special gifts for your loved ones? Something unique? Something handmade? Come and see the beautiful and unique work of local artists, such as Joe Whitener with wood bowls and an “electrifying” technique, Nancy Amsden with knitting, wool, and felt, Joan Thoms with bird photography, Dianne Dickerson with acrylics, Jane Cook with polymer clay & silver jewelry, mixed media, Carla with Plants & Things, and Julie Summers with handmade soaps and lotions. You will also have the opportunity to shop from the artisan women that Jane works with in Cambodia. Another special item in the TACC Gift Shop are the handmade, crocheted shawls made by the TACC Crochet Club. These make great gifts for your loved ones going through grief, loss, or sickness as well as that special person that needs to know they are loved.
