Additional Information
I recommend wearing an apron and/or older clothing when painting with oils. Oil paints can be removed with paint thinner, but staining is always a possibility. Oil paints and cleaning solvents require care when using them. If you are sensitive or allergic to solvents, you will need to take this into consideration before participating in this workshop. When in doubt, it’s best to sit this out.
This workshop will take approximately 4-5 hours to complete. Feel free to bring along a snack or drink. Water will be provided.
You will be able to take your completed painting home at the end of the workshop. It will take at least 7 – 14 days for the oil paints to dry to the touch. I recommend bringing a flat cardboard box* for transporting your completed oil painting home.
